Hospital Complex

Our Hospital Complex is ideal for clinical trials within a comfortable clinic environment. The outpatient diagnostic equipment suites, such as advanced optomic CG integrated colpo-hysteroscopy system, offer unique patient experience and research capabilities.

Genomic Laboratory

Our facility houses one of the largest and most sophisticated genomic laboratories in Nigeria, committed to advancing the field of genomics, with a focus on finding innovative solutions to improve health outcomes and reduce disease burden in Nigeria & Africa.

BSL-3 Laboratory

The BSL-3 lab at KIRCT is one of the few of its kind in the West African sub-region in terms of sophistication. The BSL-3 facility will foster scientific research and discovery of emerging and re-emerging infections, especially PPP(Pathogens with Pandemic Potential.

AMR Laboratory

We have a state-of-the-art anti-microbial resistance (AMR) laboratory for advanced research, and surveillance to address drug resistant infections that threaten population health.

Diagnostic and Clinical Trial Laboratory

KIRCT has established this infrastructure to support ongoing clinical trials for drug/vaccine research and development, in addition to capacity-building.

Training programs

We offer training programs in the following domains:
  • R and Python programming
  • Genomics and Bioinformatics
  • AMR Surveillance
