Clinical Services

We offer clinical services for communicable and non-communicable diseases like;

  • Communicable diseases (HIV/AIDS, TB, Measles, Hepatitis, Malaria, STIs, etc.)
  • Non-Communicable diseases ( Asthma, Maternal and Child health, diabetes mellitus,  heart disease, Cancer etc.)

Laboratory Services

Microbiology, hematology, Chemical pathology, histopathology, immunology, and molecular Services.

Medical Research and Training

Diagnostics and clinical trials for drugs/vaccines, Human capacity strengthening.

Kano Independence Research Centre Trust (KIRCT) in collaboration with National Agency for the Control of Aids (NACA) organized a Training for Government Staff on R Programming, introducing Technology System.

Kano Independent Research Center Trust (KIRCT) was established in 2013 by Pfizer Inc. for the Kano State Government in Nigeria to conduct Bio-medical (and Healthcare) Research with focus on communicable and non-communicable diseases of public Health importance in Nigeria and the African continent.

The Center also conducts programmes for workforce development in public health. Pfizer Inc. is fully funding the activities of the Center through some Memorandum of Understanding which is projected to continue for the next several years.
